a soft place to land in early parenthood
Infant Feeding & Postpartum Support in Northern BC
Unhurried care for families who want thoughtful guidance, steady support, and space to grow in confidence.
Welcome, dear one
I’m Morgan
I created Soma Landing in response to a simple truth I’ve come to know: we are a stronger community when we open our hearts to care for one another. And the world is brighter, more connected, and more beautiful when we take good care of new mothers.
I am deeply grateful for the persistent, undeniable call that led me to become a lactation consultant, after many years of serving as a childbirth educator—a path that began with becoming a mother myself. I learned quickly just how immense the postpartum transition is, and how overwhelming, lonely, and isolating it can feel without access to meaningful support. I also came to know how profoundly resilient, capable, and devoted mothers truly are.
My mission at Soma Landing is to create a space where clinical expertise meets community-held care. A space where families can seek professional support when feeding feels difficult, stressful, or confusing—and receive care that is gentle, attentive, and responsive. A home for connection and community, through thoughtfully curated groups, workshops, and gatherings led by trusted facilitators, each aligned with the same core values of attunement, respect, and deep regard for each family’s experience.
And a space for mothers to land.
I’m so glad you’ve landed here
